Hi all, I just got done replacing the gasket behind the timing plate and I am reinstalling everything. The hole for where the oil squirter goes is covered by the gasket still. See picture. Do I cut this out or will the oil squirter break the “seal” when I screw it in (similar to how the super glue caps will break the seal on the tube of glue)? I don’t want to screw this up. Thanks!

I didn’t ☹️, I guess I’m digging back in there with a new OEM gasket. I have a follow up question. Are the gears supposed to be offset like this? I am having a hell of a time pushing the crankshaft gear in any farther so the two gears are flush.
