Made a wine rack for the GF out of reclaimed Black Swamp oak.
That is a single board in back. Counting rings the tree had to be at least 180 years old. Figure the barn it came from was at least 130 years old. So that wood is older than George Washington.
I have a couple of guitars that I tinker with every now and then.
The one I have been working on is a 62 Fender Jaguar.
It was a basket case when I got it back in the mid 80's so I stripped it and refinished it back then and got it wired and working but not top notch.
A couple of years ago I drug it out of the back of the closet and started working on it again.
I bought new pots and pickups.
It had string buzz that I guess is common so I watched some videos and shopped around for parts.
A thing called a buzz stop was around $40 and a bridge that looked interesting was $175 and up so being the frugal (cheap) person I am I said I can make that.
For the buzz stop I used some stainless steel I had on hand so it only cost me time and some electricity for lath work, cutting out on band saw.
I had to ask my wife for a few bucks for some screws and springs for the bridge but the rest was material (stainless) on hand and my time.
I came in under twenty bucks not counting the broken "E" string.
The guitar sounds even better and the wife says it looks great but there are some things I don't like so want to redo the saddles.

Angle grinder rack (initial.steps)...impulse build based on a fleeting concept (never made it to paper) from years ago. 
Still have yet to figure wall-mounting but it'll also have wheel storage and probably grinder handle storage.

We live in a modest 1200 sq’ home with one floor furnace to heat the place. During our comparitively mild winters I would still hear some whining from the wife and kids about how it would be nice to have a clothes warmer.
So I whipped this up from some 1/2” tubing I had laying around.

Got the second half of my order from Hoosier Profiles on Friday. First box came with the upper wheel, lower cradle, adjuster, and hardware. Second box came with lower anvils and lifter for the top wheel. Now I have to work on finalizing my frame design.

I think you're supposed to store wine bottles on an angle so the cork stays wet....or something like that. IDK, maybe the bottles don't last long enough to dry out in your house
Nice looking setup. The pipe layout on the wall got me thinking we have a case of OCD here, then I saw the steel barrel of cut-off and misc and I knew that was not the case
Yep. So many of the corks these days are artificial though that it doesn't matter as much.
