Went to the tuner today and they put in the larger injectors for the Cam. Turns out, since the injectors sat in the LC while I was deployed (and not moving), some of them got "gunked up". Now it's running on all 8 cylinders.

Had the leave the LC at the tuner because they need to weld in a bung to measure the wideband for the tune.

Got the LC back from the tuner over the weekend. Took a few weeks due to them having to install a bung, the tuner took vacation for a week, and I couldn't find the time to get up there till the weekend.

They did the tune on the street because the rollers in the shop would of "ate up" my large tires, and they didn't want to hurt the transfer case/gears. He explained that a street tune allows the truck to be under load for better results. The tuner was unable to tell me what the exact HP is, but he guesstimates its approximately 350 HP to the wheels.

How’s it drive now with the tune?
A lot better. But not sure if it's the tune, or the injectors. I'm leaning more on the injectors. One or more of the injectors were clogged, and that's why it sounded like it wasn't running on all cylinders, and throwing O2, lean/rich, and MAF codes.

Now no codes and easily hits 70-80 mpg without noticing.

The truck is still loud as Hell though lol.

Need a little help. Been looking at getting new(ish) tires and been seeing a lot of 40's up for sale. Should I get 40's? I know they look great, but should I get 40's? 🤔

My set up:
No fenders
4" lift
RCV front axles
Slee 6" radius arms
Landtank extended rear lower control arms
Dobinsons adjustable rear upper control arms
Currently running 37's

This is not my daily driver, unless something happens and it has to be. I don't not have a 105 power steering box.

If you can tell me more than a yes or no, that'll be awesome. Thanks in advance.

You'll need the 105 sector shaft imo. Other than that, some trimming of the front fenders. Rest should work with 40s imo.

I have 39.5 Iroks with 5" of lift and cut about 2-2.5" in the front and 1-1.5" in the rear. Also, I had to fab up some extended bump stops. Hydro assist is on the list of things to do.

I do snow wheeling mostly, so 39.5s was a logical choice.

Go for the 40s. Im running the Baja Boss M/Ts and they drive really nice. Find the "happy spot" of air pressure on the street, and they're great, also really happy with them offroad. 25# on the street, 15# on the trails. Mine sits more than it gets used, and have zero complaints about flat spots or balance issues.

Though I think it's supposed to rain all this week, I finally got around to putting on these tube doors.

Also got an alignment a few weeks ago. When I go back from GSMTR, I rotated the tires and noticed uneven ware.

Is 0° Spec for camber?

I’m ready for the 🇯🇵 gov to denounce this one

Lmk ;)

Looks fantastic and getting closer each day.
Lol. Your probably right, but I'm praying not 🙏🏽.

You trying to call first dibs? 😅

Basically 😂

Can’t wait to see it.

Keep the 37s. Your proportions are spot on…

If Jason doesn’t get first dibs…I’ll sign up!

I'd like to know what they did to change camber 🤣 it's not adjustable. Toe in/out is the only thing adjustable in 80 series front geometry ( without aftermarket parts)

0.1⁰ change before/ after is just a measuring/equipment error

Sure looks like it was built for fun 👍
Not gonna call it fun, but I feel good about my accomplishments. This was a big project for me, and glad I had the help on ONSC members along the way.
