I'm not sure whether you have the glass for this light. If you don't, I thought I would share what the PO did as a temporary fix. He found a fog light lens that would fit in the housing and made trim piece out of thin metal. This temporary repair has since been replaced with a OEM glass lens.

Very ingenious, I do have a good piece of original glass. I was making sure everything worked prior to finishing.

Just got some nice parts in from @ToyotaMatt. New breather hose to go between the 2F valve cover and 1F air cleaner, and new washer bottle, hose and spray nozzle for the hood. It’s the little things…

show us where you applied your full on total vehicle oem period correct decals package ?

i like where you affixed the WASHER one , you can actually read it correctly as you pour in the RAIN-EX Infused special sauce they now offer up at you local NAPA

The washer sticker was on there when I got it along with the Denso sticker. Check your texts, the package was missing something important.

Finished up the back floors and got everything repainted. Got both front seats installed and looking pretty good. Last thing to tackle is the adhesive on the back doors. Hopefully start up is coming soon!

i can say for certain , NOBODY in Vintage TOYOTA Land Cruiser History since the year 1973- till present day 8/19/2022 has ever taken , let alone posted a.........

" PHOTO's or it Does NOT Exist " image of any kind shape or form , of the OEM KOITo 1973 one year only Back Up Lamp actually Fully Illuminated using

the 1973 FJ40 Shifter stick in reverse , and the key in the ON position , ambient light dim , or simply non-existent , to prove that these unique " THINGS "

actually do work as the 1973 factory glove box manual suggests ?



i myself am skeptical John , that yours actually is more then just your " Crown-Jewel " .....

I actually found mine on eBay a few years ago, dude had the clear lenses on a front turn signal, separate auction has the base with an orange lenses. Mis labeled, all told, $50.
