Gents ... good morning, I know it's been a while and I've been lurking in the background but I now have a couple of updates

First, the body work has now started, and I certainly detail this as we go, and I've been promised that it will be completed by October.

2nd, another project landed in my lap that I could not pass up on.
My good buddy couldn't finish this project so I took it off his hands ... 1967 Pro touring Camaro

Everything is done, I just need to put it all together with my builder.
This one will be done by early spring

This will be a 10/10 car

@Sheck44 can you share more information on the hinge rebuild and if there is a service available.
I’m looking to get the drivers door rebuilt and not having much luck.

Ok ... I believe the doors are coming off this week, let me see if I can get some details on the hinge rebuild
Cheers

Ok, here are the 1st preliminary designs for the dash
Some pretty cool stuff happening here, 3D carbon printed surround, for the Dakota Digital dash, the centre section 'Land Cruiser' logo area is completely louvered / vented for the centre AC and heat. And, as you can see fully custom glove box, and you will also see a large round dial below ... this will be a second piece of the dash that will hold both the large suspension dial, as well as the start button and the E-brake (not shown yet)

Let me know what you guys think

That dash is so freaking cool! You should make a few of them!

Very impressive progress on what’s gonna be a beautiful pig.

Will you still incorporate the foam (cap) on top?

Thank you ... so, this plastic printed piece is just the mock-up of what is going to be completely machined out of aluminum. Such a shame, would have been a LOOOOT cheaper to leave in plastic and just paint it LOL ...

The detail for the top of the dash we are still working on, but definitely not the original pad as this dash is now a couple of inches wider.

Cheers
Steve
