Thanks guys ... Haven't sorted that out yet but I do agree, as long as it doesn't come across as too 'disco' LOL (as stated above)
Cheers

You may have already crossed that line with the full sunroof. :p

This I'll have to disagree with, just hold tight and give me an opportunity to prove you guys wrong.

I wasn't serious. Looks like you're doing it first class.

Ha ! Thanks, you never know, this is a pretty tough crowd here and you have to respect the purists (which I do) ... The sunroof idea was a last minute decision again when I found out how bad the roof actually was. I have pushed boundaries on design choices on some of my latest car builds but this sunroof was beyond even my comfort zone but my body guy convinced me that it would be absolutely worth it, so

Ha !! No issue, and thanks.

Regarding the sun roof, do you have concerns regarding flex? With the cross braces removed over such a length, I'd have some worries. Safety glass is strong, until it's not.
Kinda what I’ve been thinking. I know I’ve had mine twisted up enough a couple times to crack the inner surrounding sheetmetal of the roof and distort the roof steel itself.

The chance of this pig seeing any off road duty isn't zero but I'm betting its extremely close to zero. We all know about what parts and labor cost in 2025 and I'm guessing this pig would be something north of 150K to build here in the US and guessing a bit more in Canada. @Sheck44 builds these to sell and again guessing he's not trying to sell them at a loss so that would put this in the Beck pig price range when all is said and done.
So if the new owner actually drives it no it's not going to flex enough or often enough driving over the speed bumps in the coffee shack drive through to start creating huge issues but it will look cool as hell doing it.
I like this build for what it is and Sheck has some cool wild ideas and the ability to pull it off, always fun to watch and I'm looking forward to seeing this one completed soon!

I thought I remembered him mentioning Baja racing?

J Mack ... you've pretty much hit it perfectly.
I am not a professional builder, but the people I use to complete most of the works are. They are trustworthy shops, and friends of mine that we have been doing work with for many years and yes still not cheap. The true reason I do this, is my absolute LOVE and passion for creating truly awesome cars/trucks. If I make some money at the end of it all, then that's awesome (to be honest I usually do). For many years my ultimate build has always been a 55. I don't know why, but mostly because like most of you, 55's just pull you in, we just love them. As well, NOBODY on this planet has taken a 55 to this extreme. So, going into this project carries a lot of financial risk, and getting this build JUST RIGHT for the right buyer(s) will be difficult, but I think I am getting there. Yes, this truck will likely be a 'Starbuck's' / grocery getter BUT I've built it to absolutely go offroad if the right guy takes it.

J Mack, you and Rush are quite outspoken and can be a little 'critical' at times (:)) , and for you both to both like what I am doing, and respect the way I am doing it is extremely rewarding to me because that means I am making the right decisions, and going in the right direction... and I thank you

Cheers
Steve
