Is that the BP?
neat history in that location. the Catlett market and the Trenis hardware store there have been there a long long time. The hardware store has been at that location since the mid 60's but it has been in operation since 1866. The fuel and oil operation served my dad's old restaurant with fuel oil for years until they sold the fuel oil part off. They sell a lot of off road diesel there for farming operations and a bunch of the construction companies are there in the early morning hours filling up tanks for equipment as they head into northern VA.it’s the Country Life! Ethenal free gas and Off road Diesel at the corner market.

That’s just down the road. If you go south about 1 mile past Elk Run rd you will come to a bridge over a creek. To the left is where the skirmish took place. It is also a location where Jeb Stuart led one of his famous raids behind enemy lines.

J.E.B. Stuart’s Audacious Catlett Station Raid
How a Victorian notion of chivalry led to the Civil War’s most consequential raid. Click to expand photos… James Ewell Brown “Jeb” Stuart (1833-1864) was an audacious Confed…michaelkleen.com
This sums up civil war history in this area in a nut shell. Really sad considering how much there is. My wife is big into local history and found a book on ebay of all places put together by the Manassas museum and it captures the history of Manassas pre and post antebellum, including ancient black and white photos. It's unreal.... no one ever goes to check it out...
Worked on swapping out a fuel pump for my cousin. Line was broken at the pump from when he tried to take everything off. Tried seeing if I could get it. Ended up having to drop the tank and taking the short rubber line off where it met the hard line. Tomorrow I'll put the tank back up and hope she runs.
