hi

here the same toy but with his first painting

Wow, thanks for your pictures. The front absorber sure works like clockwork! ^^ From your .pdf file , I only can understand it runs on 235/80 R16. :)

Hi All
New to all this so this may be a repeat of a post yesterday.

Just thought I would share my new addition with you as I know there is a lot of interest in the Aussie 78 series in the US. I purchased it as you see it in the photos and I have not had a chance to get it dirty yet. The back is complete with 40litre Engel fridge, 2 burner gas stove, kitchen sink and various cupboards. Sleeps 2 people in the pop up roof. Underneath is a 70 litre water tank along with 180 litres of diesel.
The 1HZ motor is turbo charged and intercooled.
Regards

Sorry for the double post.

What brand is the canopy ?

thanks

I went along with fellow mudder maujkar this weekend to help him teach some new offroaders the basics of sand driving. Two of the new drivers are also into photography, so I thought I'd share a couple of their photos here and get some photos back into the photo thread :) :

The 1HZ has been good in the dunes so far. It requires more forethought than with some of the higher HP motors. You have to plan your method of attack in advance because if you are not in the right power band (RPMs or gearing) and you have to shift while trying to climb in soft sand it's over. But if you can keep the revs up, and keep momentum it does fine. A turbo is still on my build list though.

I did 1000kms in the Rub Al Khali a few months ago and it was definitely a learning experience figuring out the best gear and speed combinations, but at the end of the day had no problems keeping up with the petrol heads. I did sweat a bit being the only diesel though when three of the stations I went to at the end were out of diesel. I thought I was going to have to siphon diesel from a big road truck, but made it to a station with 7L to spare.

Southeast Overland is a store in the US that sells offroad supplies. We have placed several orders with them lately, through Steve (I think the Owner?). He is a ih8mud member and they are a supporting vendor. He has been great to work with because he has made us several custom winch ropes and recovery ropes. He sent us some T-shirts so we wore them on this trip in order to send him some photos of some of his products in action. If you have an Aramex box in NYC then he sips it there and the shipping doesn't break the bank. Here is there link http://www.southeastoverland.com/

No connection, just a satisfied customer :)

Can you share more details about Southeast Overland? Is it a KSA club?

That's us. Thanks for the kind words. We have loved the business we have received recently from our friends in Saudi Arabia. I am personally jealous of all the dunes. We definitely don't have that here in South Carolina.
