Can we get some engine bay pictures please? I would love to see how the 1UZFE looks in there! I can't find a single picture on the web of a 1UZFE in an LJ7X...

Yup lots of terrain. Mud rock snow. Everything you need to get stuck! Although I need to swap the L engine for something with more power. I love the cruiser, just need more grunt!!

Whoever did the body job on mine did good the Inside looks factory with the back panel and mesh pockets from the 75 both heaters are still functional, but I got rust by the door hinges so we'll see if I still like the previous guy when I tear into rust this summer

Crusher how much power does ur turbo pz produce? Can R151 withstand it?

the R sereis tranny is a weak bugger, if you are not trying to burn rubber on take off then it will stand the turbo PZ with no issues, same with a turbo HZ. if you like to shift hard, drop the clutch, launch from a dead stop then the R series is not for you.

i have never dyno'd the setup but it is MUCH more responsive and enjoyable to drive.

Since I can't own a 70 Series...I figured I would build one :flipoff2: for much less. She is Zero Emission Certified, 1 mile long range batteries, and leaf sprung.

This is not a real truck, but it's as close as I can get to having a 70.

SWEET JESUS!

We need a build thread and more info on that thing!

I have one here:
https://forum.ih8mud.com/radio-controlled/649221-70-series-ute-build.html

Not much has changed other than the color (200 Series Galactic Gray)

Crap, I didnt think it was a model!

It looks good though, you should build a real one.

Ill find a BJ70 body around here and you can buy it and ship it, cut and paste sheet metal to make it a 70 series cab and then extend the frame, throw on some 14 bolts or a D70 front and some michelins.

Probably a rusty one around here somewhere for $1K or so for a parts rig.

sorry for turning this thread to chat BTW!
