Plasma table I'm guessing....

Just want to say I like the direction you're taking "Poppy". The OEM "Plus" approach makes for a tasteful DD that is comfortable yet capable as Toyota intended. If the ole' 2F powerplant ever peters out, I nominate the 5.7 supercharged Tundra unit you mentioned. After than when you're bored you could fabricate an install of the Tundra's front suspension and the Sequoia's rear independent suspension.

I,

What pictures... I got nothing man. Looks the same unfortunately. Other things are taking precedence currently. So, once again, I'm in STOCK-PILE mode. :meh:

No worries, pretty much the exact same thing happening on my 62.

Cheers

Thanks... It's been hard not to start taking bumpers and chrome off her. But, I took her for a ride a couple of days ago and I know I had a huge smile on my face cruising around town.

The SC tundra engine is a money pit so far. I still don't know if and when it will ever happen. I'm DEEP into the RED COLUMN on it currently.

Just finished reading through this thread and can't wait to see how it all comes out especially that bumper!

Curious what made you get a new bumper though instead of just using with the one that was already on it.

Someone else may want one.

Well if it's still unspoken for when you take it off I'd be interested! The PO of my 60 ran it into something and bent it up.

Jason
Are you going with a 5spd or staying with the 4spd?
I have 2nd thoughts on putting my 5spd in since the 4spd shifts so well for me right now.

What made you go with the 4 speed over the 5? Sorry if I ask a lot of questions I'm in the middle of trying to decide what way to go

More than anything, I'm modeling/building as close to OEM stock as I can.

If I were going to lift, add 33s and swap to 4:11 gears.. the 5 speed is my transmission ALL DAY LONG HANDS DOWN!!

J

Ok that makes sense I'm gonna go for that exact set up 33s, 4.11, and a 5 speed!

I'm looking forward to the stock bumper winch build so I can do some hillbilly magic and make it work on my truck lol

Finally got nice enough around here to shuffle the vehicles in the garage to get the 60 out to take some pictures of the TT bolt on DSCF1266.webp DSCF1272.webp DSCF1273.webp DSCF1271.webp sliders. I think they look great, and were simple and easy to to install.
