Sliders look great. Thanks for posting the installed pics. Can't wait to get mine installed (if I can ever get my 60 back from the painter!)

Can't wait to get mine installed
Install was really easy and straight forward. Install both sides without cranking the u-bolts down, as, for me, there was a aux. tank mount on the passenger side that required a slight adjustment front to back. Of course, I agonized over the driver's side mount first, only to adjust it to match the passenger side after I realized the interference. It was only a 1/4" or so, but........
The coolest part of the install was when I figured out that Jason had provided "standoffs" to allow the fuel and brake hard lines to be securely mounted to the frame and pass over the slider u-bolts. You can see these in the pics. That kind of attention to detail is rare and the hallmark of a true professional. (and a guy that's actually done this stuff)

Thank you for the kind words. I really appreciate them and the feedback.

I try and see everything from an end users point of view and how to make things as simple as possible to install for everyone, no matter their skill level. I usually take things on and off a dozen or more times to tweak things to make this possible.

I even supply special tools with some of my products just so guys don't have to stop midstream and run to the LHS and buy the right tool (in most cases the wrong tool because the store didn't have what's need....). A 35¢ allen/hex wrench or 8$ specialty size/length drill bit makes things go much easier. Nothing like opening a box up and a poor guy having to go hunt down several dollars worth of materials and tools to install something that should be there to begin with. I've been there too many times and its why I add those little items to my product hardware kits.

Thanks again for the order and feedback,

Jason

Jason you are a legend.
Like dickM said, those extra bits go a long way towards an extremely happy customer. Word of mouth means everything. Wish you were in OZ so i could buy your gear!

I'm just a guy who loves what he does. I wish I could spend a couple months in OZ building armor and meeting all of you.

Jason,
Got a question for you. Do you happen to know the difference between the drum brake and disc brake spindles for a Fj40? Is there anyway to tell if one is a disc brake spindle?

Thanks
Ryan

Ryan IRCC the spindles are the same on the drum and disc spindles for 40 seris. The early pre-68 ( prob wrong on year) spindles may be different but pretty sure from 68-84 they are the same.

calling @beno @cruiserdan for verification.

The cargo carpet was dropped off at lunch today. I spoke to my guy and he can do a bulk order (must be 10 of each color) for $850.00 a full cut and sewn set shipped to the lower 48.

I would buy a set in grey for that price. Hope others see the value in that!

Here's the difference, drum brake left, disc on the right. This is the reason I always recommend the factory disc brake swap over the
aftermarket disc swap using drum spindles. I have personally gone on three rescue missions off road to fix broken drum spindles

Thanks for the comparison picture. Do you know the lengths of the two?

I'm good with being the middle man on this. Get 9 more guys for the blue/grey and let me know.

Thanks Jason, much appreciated! I assume that includes the 28(?)oz jute backing. Could I use your pictures in a group buy thread and reference you?

Is this a one time group buy or will one be able to purchase the carpet kit down the road as well? I will be needing a set but have other things i need to do soon that will eat up my available funds at the moment.

You would need to contact @petrolhead for details. He is the one that is interested in organizing the group buy.
