I'm looking for ideas on CB mounts for my 40. I'd like to see what others have done. Thanks.

Ash tray removed,now Uniden 520, Yupiteru multiband receiver,Garmin 376c, map lamp . CB antenna on the ARB Bull bar bumper,next to the cb antenna a Comet CA-2x4SR vhf-uhf,ham radio and comercial factory tune

I built a tray out of a cedar fence board, covered it with indoor outdoor carpet. cut a square hole out of tray under CB speaker, and mounted stereo speakers. Total cost about $7.00. I used 6 angle brackets to mount the whole thing. I know, kinda redneck but it works. I ran the wiring out of the hole at the top of windshield on the top left side.

PO had cut a hole for a radio and removed the defrost vent tubes to allow it to fit. There was nothing there when I got it so this works well.



And I fabbed an antenna mount.

Wow. Lots of stuff there. What's the Yupiteru model # and what bands does it do? I like the fit. How did you mount it?

YUpiteru MTV-8000....8mhz~ 1,300 mhz....am,fm,wfm. receiver -scanner-short wave . SEcure at the back with small bracket. 200 mem.

I attached the CB to the bottom of the dash just to the right of the steering column. There is plenty of clearance for your leg and it is easily accessible.
