I had a sun roof on my 1972 pig. I would kneel on the seat with my left knee and operate the gas and brake with my right leg while my head and shoulders were sticking through the sun roof. I had Volvo seats that were set about 2 inches higher then the original bench. I would cruise the beaches with binoculars checking out the talent. No risk involved there.

Well let’s see, it was 45 years ago, I might of got it from JC Whitney. But I might have got it from from a local auto supply. I think it could have been Pep Boys. Pep Boys was started in Santa Barbara,(if you didn’t know that) Manny, Moe and Jack used to work the counter. Let me drink, I mean think on it a bit more. It might come to me, or it might not.

45 years ago I can remember the girls that sat next to me in my pigster. The car part store, not so much. Sorry I couldn’t be of much help.

no. they're something aftermarket/third party in the original location. the 1978/79 lights are lower, like this:

Tailgate is smoothed on that blue one too. Someone did a ton of work to it, must have gotten sick of it by the time it came to build those uninspired bumpers.
