Since a Lexus and Fj60 are attending, is a Toyota Echo permissible? We have property in Pagosa Springs to camp at. Would really like to see this group of pigs and be a participant.

Report from Palmdale. G&S Auto Repair attacked my pig today (blown head gasket). They sent the head out to be checked and it came back fine. A bit of abnormal wear in the cylinders here and there. The shop I use at home looked at the photos and said to but the head back on and make a go of it. What's done is done. No definitive conclusion at this time on what happened
Hope to be back on the road by 2:00 tomorrow
Tell JMack the name space 15 is registered under is Gordon Gibbons.

God speed to all

Best of luck man!

Bob, see you crossed the Mississippi, just keep moving until you get out of St. Louis. You guys are doing good, keep it going.

We got on the road later than I wanted to. Hi. My fuel gauge in and my power ports in once I got on the road my blinkers not working. Making the climb out of San Diego was a little treacherous. Mike transmission got harder than I've ever seen it yet but it still was within operating temperature. Now its 9 and we're traveling through El Centro and I got the windows down but it's 107 outside so naturally my temperatures are climbing back up again.

Spent the day wrestling with the Quadrajet. Pretty much packed up. Few chores in the am and we'll head out. About a three hour drive so should be in space 19 mid afternoon tomorrow.

I guess I need to stop whining. It's only going to be 102 in ABQ tomorrow. Hopefully I'll be on the road way before it gets that hot. Good luck to you.

We got to to Yuma and it's only 93. My exhaust is making the inside of the truck even hotter. I need to reroute it outside the frame and think about heat shields and thermal coating. Running ok tho and plugging along.

Had one last stop in Tx. No, I didn't order the 72'r, but did get to see someone else take the challenge/fail.

See you tomorrow.[/QUOTE]

That's a great Steakhouse. My dad and I stopped there on our journey back from picking up my pig in Arkansas.
