Well I made it to Ludlow. Bad vapor lock or fuel flow problem. Towed back to Barstow. Mechanic says he recognizes where to look.

If it's a recognizable problem and an easy fix. I will give it one more try to dash there tomorrow.

Darn @Gordobe we were looking for you this morning.
When we didn't see you we started forming a plan to find out where you were and come get you with a trailer.
Hopefully you are on the road now.
We have cell service only when we come to Rico.
My 40 used to vapor lock in the summer, I would add a quart of ATF every time I would tank up, it seemed to help
