Gratitude Jim.
Let us know your final price on shirts, I want to make sure you get enough to pay for the order. Mighty nice of you to add this to your plate so we can have an event shirt.
I will bring Cash so you don't have to Dick around with checks or PayPal or 4squares or chicken bartering, etc...

How many :chicken::chicken: for 2 double xxs

Kidding,kidding. $$ cash.
I'm not sure yet Bob, he told me around $10 per shirt but I don't know if that's the cost for just the printing or if that's the cost for the shirt including the printing.
I sent him the artwork and shirt sizes with a credit card number for deposit, I'll let you know when I know more.

Hey All, some comments about climate and conditions we will likely face...

I got up this morning to go swim and checked the temp - 60 degrees in my part of CO. I got curious about what the temp was in Rico, the closest town to our campground - 40 degrees F. High today in Rico is forecast @ 71 degrees F, about 20 degrees cooler than my highs for the day.

Rico is at ~8800 feet above sea level. This can pose a challenge for folks coming from sea level, as altitude sickness can hit quickly, and make one feel pretty miserable w/ headache. At this altitude, as soon as the sun goes down, temps will drop quickly.

The average high temps for Rico in July is 70 degrees, and the average low is 33 degrees. This will make for some good sleeping, but please plan your clothing wisely - it will be cold when we are getting up. Bring lots of layers!

Also bring lots of water and water bottles. Drink lots of water as you climb in altitude to avoid feeling the effects of altitude sickness.

I was thinking more about these night time temps...

Seems like we could have some pretty good camp fires if there is no fire ban in effect.

Does anyone have access to some firewood? Those little $5 bundles at the grocery store aren't going to cut it...

so how much cr#p would one get if the pig was trailered , hypothetical of course , overdrive gear set is failing in the a343f , drives for now but road trip may be sketchy, ordered a new set just may be pushing it to tear down the trans a week before we go .

Attendance is more important. We can photo chop :)

X2, just get there however you can.
Hell, we can help you with the overdrive in camp!

My plan is to drive my wife's LX to Rico, and have someone pick me up in a Pig there. Just don't tell @J Mack ...

Wow this thread has been busy. I just got back from my daughter's birthday party.

I am 2xl for shirt.

I have a little bit of euc left I can bring. It will save me from having to move it to my new house.

I might cook a pork shoulder on the engine as I drive up.

This is starting to sound more like a show and shine than an off road party. I might need to borrow your California duster and some tire shine when I get to camp..

I've got firewood ( next winter's supply ), but I thought you weren't supposed to haul it out of state, beetles and all. If I bring a Military trailer, I could haul some.

i have t shirts coming out of drawers under my bed i didn't know existed. trying to clean house. unfortunately the cruiser content shirts are the coolest and the first to get holes and fall apart...the $4 shirts i bought at sams club are still going strong, but i don't like them cause there's no cruiser content :(

i won't be up until late 21st, but probably more like early 22nd. it's an 8 hour drive for me and i have to work weds :(
