I picked up my first 1996 FZJ 80 about three months ago bone stock and 106K on the clicker. I've since put an OME lift, ABR, Tundra Rims with 285's on 2" spacers, Slee's part time 4WD kit, Tuffy lock Box, Covered the wheel and gear lever in black leather and Grey sheep skins.

This truck has been fun and I love the more modern feel and ride compared to my old FJ62. I did have both windshield and sunroof leaks and pull the entire interior and headliner out for cleaning. My vicious coupler was locked up so I decided for the Part time 4wd, hope to get a couple miles better on the gas.

Still going thru and changing all fluids, knuckle rebuild, brakes and tint are next.

Very Happy to be in the 80 section now!!!!

Very nice.

The guy who did the wheel and shift lever is named Tino and his number is 954-297-0204. He lives in FL, you will have to mail the wheel to have it covered. He did a very Outstanding job. Had it covered in black with grey stitching. Tino has been in this type of work for over 20 years. After scheduling a time his turn around is 48 hours.

The wheel and shift lever cost me $300

I like what you did there, very nice....... tuffy box and steering wheel is sharp man!!!!

and welcome to the 80 section ;)

Nice mate
did you put the chrome door handles in

Looks nice :flipoff2:.

I noticed a lot of minor upgrades like the clear side markers. I'm guessing you did this so give us some more details if able.

The wheels remind me of the Tundra I sold after getting the LC. No more trucks payments! Nice rig you have there. Like the Tuffy.
