You scored a great truck for $1,700. Just went through most of what you're about to do on a '94. Same color too. It runs great now... but man, oh man... prepare to open your wallet... lol.

Unless your county requires smog... delete everything smog related. Your truck will run better and you won't fry (or have to worry about) your main engine harness. And, pull the dang alarm... the "brain" is under your driver's seat (if it hasn't been pulled already). Start at the brain/control until and disconnect it.

Show me where your truck is rusted out... post pics. I'm parting out a '97. Its body is in pretty darn good shape.

Really not much rust at all on this 94, not that I’ve found anyways. Drivers side cab corner, a spot under the air filter box. Passenger cab corner looks good. Frame is clean.

I prefer the leather, the leather in my GX470 though not perfect, is preferable, to my tastes.

How do your leather seats look?

I have a 2006 LX470 and I've already had to replace the leather after it started looking very worn and dirty. The cloth seats in my '94 Land Cruiser still look fantastic.

After owning both, I definitely prefer the old Toyota cloth seats.
