I call it like it is. I'd rather say something so someone doesn't get ripped off than keep my mouth shut in fear of offending someone. An "excellent vendor/mudder" wouldn't have insane prices like that.

Since your on a rant...have you priced PFran LEDS (in your signature) on Ebay? They are about $3 each on Ebay. I just provide the facts X vs Y, price and let everyone draw their own conclusions. This way your talking facts, and not opinions and less ppl get butt hurt.

I don't think anyone has ever been " ripped off " buying anything from Josh. If you don't have the money or want to pay his prices then shut your pie hole and buy the s*** at pep boys.

Guys like Josh and Jason take their time with customers and share their expertise without even giving it a second thought. They are a valuable commodity to this community and if you can't respect that then keep spewing and you will eventually be filtered out like old bath water.

Yeah, I paid too much for the LED's. I wish someone would have told me I could get the exact same product for a fraction of the price. Thanks for proving my point! And I'm not on a rant, just trying to save people money.

Not to come off as pompous, but I make a pretty decent living for myself without cruiseryard and I know many others on this forum do as well. Assuming your prices are correct, let's play a math game.

To start, my free time is worth a lot. To be fair, it would take at least 1 hour to research the necessary parts to do this. Then you have to drive and get them, so factor $10 in petrol and another hour in time driving to the store and back. So assuming you bought the bypass kit at $45, the saving, according to you is $25. Big whoopty doo. I will gladly pay someone $25 more to save me 2 hours to have a quality kit show up at my doorstep so I can spend time on other things. Plus, I get to help a great vendor. So yes, if you make less than $12.50/hr, then it may behoove you to do this on your own. And I didn't include the cost of petrol in this equation btw.

Bingo!

And this precisely why folks buy from guys like Josh, Jason, etc...

▲That▲ right there is why you should go OEM

What do you mean? Use an OEM Toyota hose and find some of those cotter pin clamps?

I ended up using the green stripe hose and constant pressure clamps from Napa.

Since you continue to :deadhorse:, I'll play. I did the research for him so that cost him zero time and zero money. It took me less then 20 minutes and 3.8 miles of driving. $23/.20= $4.60.
4'x $1.79= $7.75 with tax
2x $5.79= $12.54 with tax
So a grand total of $24.87 including time plus $.40 for fuel. A $20 savings NOT including shipping. Include shipping and that's about half price. So yeah, it's worth the savings regardless how rich you think you are. How's that for a "math game"? Damn I'm bored!

There is a place for OEM, (Hold your breath) There is a place for Aftermarket.
The Knowledge is knowing, where you can use each.

I've got burnt myself (wiper blades, throttle cable, Ashtray)
I'm not running OEM tires or Toyota Oil, and there really is no need to.

OEM tires? Sounds cool!

excellent quote, I like it.

to the OP, you have a few options, just make it happen sooner than later.

Wow, lots of butthurt...
Some people want OEM and are willing to pay for it, some aren't.

End of story...

Can one get OEM for the PHH including the cotter pin clamps?

You can order it exactly pictured by LCP earlier in this thread. Metal tube, 50mm of rubber tube attached to metal via cotter pin clamp. I think it's $187. If you think the $45 got me fired up!?!?!?!?!?!?!
