Also after this weekends trip to Moab I'm thinking of running 37's just for trips like this. I have a 1/2"-3/4" ahc lift
and a 1" body lift. Feel like this is enough to squeeze them in.

I removed the big slack skids. They were way too heavy and low.

You’ll have to tub the firewall and fender/engine bay even with a 1” body lift. Suspension lift doesn’t make a difference.

You’ll also need to relocate your washer reservoir to fit 37s. Definitely a big upgrade but i’m not sure by how much yet

Two reasons:
1. Strength - when I started building my LX470 it still had AHC which meant I had to buy the AHC compatible version of White Knuckle’s slider. The two-leg mount using u-bolts does not come close to the strength of these new ones from the guys at BudBuilt (see photo)
2. Body lift clearance - not as important but after lifting the body by 1” it will be nice to get some sliders built for a little bit more clearance) - to be fair to White Knuckle, they do make a 1” body lift version of their sliders but for reason #1 I would rather go with BudBuilt

I can’t say a bad word against White Knuckle. Those suckers held up to some of the toughest wheeling a 100 series has ever attempted. I used a winch line to my slider when I had to flip the truck back on its wheels in September of 2023. I’ve seen a few other companies’ sliders develop cracks and weld fractures from extreme use but had nothing but a positive experience from White Knuckle.

Per my previous statements, I didn’t like the two-post mounting setup on the white knuckles. It was only a matter of time before they broke or started to fatigue at least

Is that the complete Coastal or just the center section?

Replaced the steering rack, outer TREs, intermediate shaft today. Also got an alignment of course. Will have to get another once the sliders, bumpers and new springs are in place

The intermediate shaft was contributing much more to the play in the steering than I thought- glad that’s taken care of. Lots of play in the old u-joint

I only got their center section and am bending some tube for the sides/wings.

I get my alignments done at Hennessy Lexus. I often go back there and assist the tech personally since my truck is fairly un-stock

Ah ok. I'm wanting to do the same, a hybrid tube bumper using their center section.

Oh cool. They let you do that? I remember seeing a video of yours when you were at a shop talking about alignment but I couldnt remember where the shop was.

My wife and I are headed to Scotland for 10 days in May.
(May 10th - May 23rd)

I expect some delays in order fulfillment but will have some support staff to answer emails and pack a few kits while we're away.

We're headed to Edinburgh, Glasgow, and many other spots I dare not attempt to pronounce. A pin-pal of mine, Paul has graciously offered up his 1HD-FTE powered HDJ101 to us while we explore the countryside. Who knows? Maybe I'll 2UZ swap his truck and pack up the 1HD in my carry-on
