I'm sooo jealous...

How is the km/litre (sorry mpg)? Would love that sort of power compared to the turbo/intercooled 1HZ!

thanks mate.. it does suck a fair bit.. average is 3-4 km/litre.. which is around 7 MPG i think.. since we had the dizzy regraphed for a lower curve, we lost power.. but by rights i think we now need to advance it even more, so we should hopefully make some more power.. might tune it this weekend..

does anybody know if there is a right hand side snorkel available for the 80 series? because i know there are left ones.. because we would like to mount one on either side direct to eatch t/b..

thnx mate.. nah we dont have a tranny temp guage, however we do have a cooler at the front.. we might rebuild the box in the future.. i dont get the rodney part though? lol

yes it helps allot.. makes it easier when something does go wrong..


BTW.. we advanced the timing today another 2-3 degrees and it goes allot better

thnx mate.. im pretty sure it has the standard brakes, if not it might have bigger pads, i know we changed them not long ago.. when towing our trailer it is equiped with a sens-a-brake kit.. all 4 wheels have brakes, so it stops very good.

the thermostat got stuck and when we got to work it was past red.. lol

496 was the 8.1 Liter BB in the full size HD pick-ups. Mine was in a Silverado 2500HD. Loved the truck, but 9mpg sucked!
