Back to the brakes again, been loosing pressure and fluid. I pulled a front wheel cylinder apart and took some measurements. Ordered some wheel cylinder cups to see if the fit. If they do I will share the part number and source.
 
No the front wheel cylinder cups. I saw that Napa made an adapter from 9mm to 10mm.
 
Well the neighbor said to me, hey I have some Land Cruiser engine parts you can have. I'm think let's go take a look. Turns out to be a F Engine in the 1968-69 date range. No cylinder head and manifolds, but pretty much everything else in the lower block. Thinking about sending the block in to have it hot tanked and checked for cracks. All the internals are in boxes. Pistons/rods, crank, cam, flywheel, oil pump.
 
Another sunny day in Eastern Oregon. Started working out the major dents on the old FJ55. First was a dent on the drivers side top. This thing must have been on it top at some time. The left side had one minor dent at the top corner edge was able to push most of it up will need some more finish work to make right. The right rear corner was crushed down pretty badly, used a Porta-power push a good hunk of it up, needs same as left side. I'm currently working on the right rear below the taillight. The force coming down from the top did a pretty good number on it. have pushed out below the light and am trying to straighten the crumple from the weight downward.

And frustration sets back in, tried the get the rear bumper off but the PO has mounted a tow ball thru the bumper and the support, by welding. Fire season just started so can’t do major grinding or cutting.
 
After a lot of grinding, beating and pulling I finally got the rear bumper off. Still a little more grinding to remove on of the end pieces. Still have to cut off or grind the remains of the bubba’d receiver hitch. Plan is to grind it down to flat, fix the hole in the bumper, then straighten out the bumper. All this so I can get into the lower corners.
 
Dents are slowly coming out. Today I ground a weld and two carriage bolts to get the bumper ends off. They were in really rough shape. Using a ball peen hammer knocked out a couple small dents on the ends. Used a portapower to spread some others. They are far from perfect, but better than they were.

I think I just took away my front brake issue. I just bought a mini truck front axle, steering box, power steering pump, and rear axle, and frame. It’s from a 1985 Toyota Pickup.
