@GLTHFJ60 It came off a long bed Ford Ranger so it’s just at 7ft, not huge like the ones off 1-ton service trucks. It also already has a full length slide tray in the back and a full length slide “hidden” drawer under the floor.

Now I have to work through the trailer base design. I intended to set it between other built boxes, but I’m not sure about the overall height doing it like that. At least it’s at the house now and I can easily take measurements and stare at it in the driveway while I contemplate.

I was diagnosed with CV19 a couple weeks ago. Made sense to build something while quarantined.

First foray into furniture...combo of white and red oak.

Pair of bedside tables for our very low platform bed at our vaca home and an entryway table for the home base. Bedside table on the left has been sanded, just needs finish coating, other two have not been sanded, etc.

I bought CV boots and gear oil for my LX but have decided to wait until I need brakes to swap rotors while I have everything apart... so, I thought I would start another project. I watched some videos on defensive shotguns and remembered I had this under the bed. It is a handful to shoot in its current configuration so I took a few tips from the video and ordered parts last night. Magpul SGA stock; Adaptive Tactical forend with rail; Wilson Combat magtube extension; OLight BLADR-Pro light/laser. Looking forward to the conversion!! I dremeled the magtube detents last night so the follower will pass into the extension tube. Everything else should be plug & play

I read this entire thread the other night and had a good cry. ;) You guys are doing amazing projects with amazing results. I haven't been doing s***, but this thread is a great motivator!

Right there with ya Joe.

Same here. Every little thing seems to take forever to do and sidetracks me even more than usual down other rabbit holes. Things are actually getting done, I just don't think I'm getting the most out of my time.

But I'll say this - I've been really good abut using what I have on hand instead of going out to buy something, at least as far as building things goes. Same with tools.

Add me to the list of "haven't done much". Patched up the decking and ramp on my shed with some plywood. Made a frittata. That's. About. It.

  1. 16 yards of top soil delivered to level and extend yard behind planned garage
  2. Planted trees in both front and backyard
  3. 16 yards of mulch around the house
  4. Planned garage layout and location (this slightly changed with waste water survey but approved)
  5. Day trips to the beach
  6. Improved laundry room with shelves and risers
  7. Kayaking in the lake behind our house
  8. Fixed gate on fence (fence will be replaced once garage is done. I just need the doors to actually open for a few more months)
  9. Making a knife with my son out of a chunk of 5/16" scrap steel
  10. Replaced old router with new Netgear Orbi Wifi6 mesh
  11. Had the roof replaced (through insurance)

Those tables look amazing Jon. But if I am being honest I rather see some more of that land cruiser work you do.

I know, right! I need to stop procrastinating with other projects and do more land cruisers.

Launching for the maiden voyage tomorrow.
