Does anyone know where I might be able to find the original wheels and hubcaps for an '80 40?

Thanks...Rodney

I've got a set off a '71, and nearby

I've got a set of original wheels and hubcaps off my '71. Don't know if they were the same as your later model. I'm in Forest Grove. Hubcaps are fair (minor dents). Wheels were fine when I took them off in December. PM me (or post reply on this forum) if you want something that's not absolutely perfect. Nice set of Les Schwab 15" Wildcats to go with 'em (90% tread). Technically, I think you (and me at this point) should be in the Classifieds with this exchange, but I'm not the policeman here.

you need to get a set that were made for your front disc brakes. I tried buying some from toyota the middle of 07 and they were discontinued. try spector offroad i think they still have new ones in stock. pricey though

oh sorry and i think the hub caps are still avail. not sure check toyota

You need to post this in the "Wanted" section. You are going to need the later model disc brake wheels. The early type, with rivets, will not clear your calipers. Also, check ebay, they show up there from time to time.

Good luck.

Thanks everybody. I wil post in Classifieds next time.

Spit, it sure would be convenient to get yours in FG but looks like they might not work.

Thanks again.....you can always depend on good info on this site.

Rodney.

I'm not sure steel wheels and hubcaps came stock on a 1980. Wouldn't it have had the steel wagon wheels?

Pending verification if you want 80's style wagon wheels versus the better looking hubcap variants - do not buy hubcaps on e-Bay. They are dirt cheap direct from Toyota - hit up American Toyota, Cruiser Dan, or anyone who gives TLCA discount.
