isn't it funny (in a sad way) that the general public is allowed to make such drastic changes to vehicles (lowered, lifted, bigger tires that affect braking and steering) but the gov't won't allow vehicles newer than 25 years old to be imported due to 'safety and emissions' concerns.
There are FAR more lifted and modified vehicles on US roads that possibly perform worse in emergency situations than the total number of Skylines and the like that would be imported, but can't be because they lack a federally mandated passenger airbag, etc.
Now I'm a fan of vehicle modification, and it is a huge business in the US, but is majorly hypocritical.
