Well, they have changed their recipe - but pig wise Little Pig's Barbeque in Newton, NC, has excellent BBQ - it used to be all vinegar/pepper based, but they changed it a couple of years ago - I don't like it all anymore, but the pork itself is excellent - I just pour vinegar on it when I am around there.......have vinegar, will travel.

I wouldn't call smithfields a fair example of eastern style. Good for commercial establishment and truly smoked but you need to find a lil spot like lil pigs above.

I think you just have bad luck man. How many miles on it?

My 1.8t rolled over 200k miles earlier this year. Needed a water pump, a timing belt, tensioner and a front axle shaft, but those are all wear items. The vast majority of the time the CEL is even off!

Got an email from my mechanic today. Only thing they've done for moonshine is mount a set of tires and do an inspection. I really do like this shop, but I lol'd at this email.

LOL, those notices are pretty funny stuff. I do all the service on my truck and the Land Cruisers and even the Volvo, although you need a special cradle and have to drop the whole power plant assembly to change a freakin power steering hose! Heather has the Volvo serviced a couple places for the "Volvo" stuff like that damn hose. So I never see any of those types of notices.

They are.... one of my top 3 things I miss about living in the desert is driving and riding in the sad rails and going to the sand drags in Glamis
