I added some more parts to my list, lowered some prices and added some more pictures to my album.

1985 fj60 and 1989 fj62

I am reposting with more info on the cruisers. And a price drop
The 1985 fj60 is complete. It has 180000 miles on it. It ran and drove in the spring. The motor and drivetrain are still in it. The rear part of the frame is rotted. All the interior is out and the body is ready to come off. I have all the interior pieces for it.
The 1989 fj62 drivetrain is on the frame and is almost ready for the fj 60 body to be put on it. I have most of the body for it but its not in the best condition. It has 89000 miles on it.I have a set of 6 old man emu Dakar springs and 4 shocks for it. The entire truck harness from the headlights to the taillights is still connected to the chassis and laying on the motor. I have some of the interior parts for it.
I have a extra motor and automatic transmission and a pile of extra parts.
I would like to get $1500 for both with all the extra parts.

Selling my 60 Gallon 6 hp Craftsman Compressor. SOLD

It does work well to run my blast cabinet and paint. But since I want to do a lot more sand blasting I upgraded to a 60 gallon Ingersoll Rand 5hp w/ 100% duty cycle which puts out 18.5 CFM at 90 PSI which should keep up a little better with the pot blaster.

The IR was a CL score for $580, the best price I have found was $850 at TSC and tack on another 7% RI sales tax to that.

Nice score on the IR. I was looking for one a while back and gave up since I didn't have a pressing need. Didn't find any deals like that either. I'd like to come and check out your new project some day. If you need a hand with something let me know.

I have been trading up compressors for a while. I originally had a 20 gallon Coleman compressor I bought new for $150 when I was 18, sold it for $125 two years ago, picked up the Craftsman for $200 because the guy needed money, just sold it for $300. Picked up the IR for $580. So all in all I haven't made out too bad over the past 16 years. I got lucky on the IR. I called the guy and he said he had another guy interested and the first one with the cash got it. I offered to paypal him a deposit of $50 and he went for it.

Eric, any time you want to come check it out let me know. Thanks for the offer on the help. I'll let you know the next time I work on it.

Or ( EG) you could find a nice 62 to put it on. Just sayn, you know you are jealous on how good Ken's 62 looks.

I'm jealous of how good Ken looks, never mind the FJ62. :o

especially when he has a porpoise under his arm and a steering wheel belt buckle.....

How did you get under his arm and your head through the steering wheel anyway?

I'm dropping the price on the '72 to $450 if you want it all which is probably more than it might be worth as one piece. On the flip side, I can get more than 1/2 of that back parting it out and get to keep the axles and a couple other parts I want. Saint P wants it gone, so put your hand up. After Sunday, it's going under the knife. There's already several folks already lined up for $200 in parts, but I'd rather not deal with it.

Saint P said she will make my next payment on the FJC if this goes VERY soon. I'll take $400 and give you the list of folks wanting parts.

Looking to buy some rear FJ60 springs, anyone have any?

Wally in VT is also looking for some! He asked me to post up about it.
(I guess hes too lazy to do it himself) :flipoff2:

Here's some pictures of my prized possession. Plus it comes with 4 SEMI Flat Tires, not the 4 empties Bob was drinking after the Pats game (or the 3 Stooges rerun he was watching).

As much as I'd like to keep the axles for a future Sammy project (which will never happen), I've decided to let someone drag it all out of my yard with the diffs, axles and spare radiator for only $500 Firm. (You know you've seen some not much better on Craigslist for 3-5 times that money.) You know you want it, you know you have to have it. I'll consider trades too - parts, toys or labor :>)

I'm also thinking a VIN plate for a '72 along with the matching stamped frame section is probably worth a bit to someone in CA to avoid the emissions hassles that one encounters for a newer 40.

How bad is the frame? Hard to tell from the pictures. Whens the last time it ran/turned over?

Dragged it onto the driveway Sunday and disassembly has begun. Here's my Craigslist listing with the pick it up in my yard prices. YT'ers get 10% off. Or, for the listed price, I will pack and ship if you pay actual postage cost. Parcel post and priority is pretty cheap if it stays within the Northeast compared to driving 50 miles.

Been wondering that myself. I think I will have about 1500 pounds to scrap from this and a couple other things. Any idea the going rate?

Needed:
Fuel sending unit, the vent assembly, the rubber isolator under the fuel pump. would take anything you got thats in good shape.
Fubar'd my sending unit.
