I'm selling the mini truck to fund some other projects. Its a really cool truck and a lot of fun, but I need some extra funds and don't really need 9 vehicles... I guess:rolleyes:

9? I have 6. You have 2 going on 3 drivers in your family. You should have at least 12 vehicles.

I'm selling my FZJ. I just don't drive it to justify having it. Only work done on it was the air conditioning. It has a factory bull bar, hitch assembly (wiring needs to be redone), I'll throw in plugs, wires, and a full set of the custom molded cup holders.

Oh, did I mention it's TRIPLE LOCKED?!?!

I'd like to get $10K for it.

No affiliation, but this LX470 just popped up for sale about a mile from my shop. So if anyone wants, I can get a closer look. It’s pretty clean. Interior looks good, but the steering rack is leaking, as well as the passenger side CV. No navigation, 269k. Oh, and there’s no area code on the phone number, so I’d assume it’s 864.

long shot but does anybody have an 80 series full float rear axle rebuild kit - bearings and seals?
I need to rebuild my rear 80 axle because today we noticed that my bearings look like they have overheated in the past and want to replace them tomorrow (Sunday) while everything is apart.

I am hoping someone has bearings and seals on hand that I can buy them from and or I can order you a new set and have them delivered to you. Ideally in Raleigh but willing to travel a bit.

I could not find the other for sale thread.

A friend of mine in TX has another JDM Turbo Diesel 80 for sale.

Please remove if need be.

Del, did you find the kit? I have a full set that has been sitting on the shelf for months, waiting on the bearing locknut wrench from OTC. The last time I did the job, I sued a punch instead of the wrench, and I didn't like the result. I had to set the preload twice.

Fred - I have the Wit's End (I think it's from WE) 54mm that also has the rear axle tool built into it. Let me know if you need it. I need to get you those schematics from Shane anyway.

Thanks.
luckily Adam had what we needed on the shelf and I have already ordered a few axle rebuild kits to replace his parts and to have some on my shelf.
appreciate the offer.

The story I get is that OTC moved their warehouse this summer and can't find anything, so the tool suppliers are selling inventory they don't have and can't get.

What pisses me off most is that I started looking for this in April. The best price I could find was from Australia, but had 8 week delivery. I've had two suppliers cancel orders for it and I'm cancelling a third this evening. If I had ordered it from AU when I started the job, it would have been done three months ago.

If you have a 54mm socket for front axle work just put notches in it for the studs on the rear. Works just fine

Found this on the interwebs
