Quality of materials when compared to mombassa, howling moon and arb are subpar. A guy I know that owns an outfitter store won't carry them anymore because of always having to deal withe customer warranty issues.

They aren't terrible tents and from all i've seen are decent when compared to other entry level tents. I'd buy it for that price.

Personally no, I don't own a roof top tent but at all the trade shows i've been to just the feel of all the materials feels cheap compared to others.

They are pretty similar in price and quality of CVT tents.

Always good to hear a different perspective. Like you, I have zero personal experience with them.

When doing reading (expedition portal, etc.) tepui (specifically the ruggedized version) was consistently praised when compared to the ones you mentioned above. @Box Rocket is on the forum (and a tepui dealer) and gets nothing but praise from a customer service perspective.

Does anyone know this truck for sale in the Indian Trail area? I have a friend that is going to look at it this afternoon and just trying to see if there is any information on it. Looks like a 45 roof on a sectioned 40 upper? Does that sound right or am I way off. Don't know much about the truck but if anyone in the Charlotte area wants to go look at it after lunch let me know. @roadstr6 @JohnVee @FJinTegaCay

That is definitely a 40 with a 45 series roof somewhat attached to it. Kinda a cool concept. It’s like a SSWB 45 (Super Short Wheelbase)

I’d wager there is nothing 45 about this. They probably cut the 40 roof cap and glassed it back together. I hope I’m wrong.

I’ve seen it in person at my mechanics shop, it was rough to say the least and trust me I have a love of “patina glitter”... feel good it’s gone, too much of a project, u can find a jacked up forty and build the same thing yourself.

It sold before we had a chance to go look.
