Yo cody c do the chains in the rear really make a difference in traction?

Damn that thing looks great!!!!

Are you joking? Chaining up all 4 wheels is the only way to wheel in snow!

I might be blind but I only see chains on two tires...

Thanks guys, I just run them on the back, I have more wheel rub issues with the front so Id rather put them in the back, on that trip the chains were the most help climbing icy hills, there were a few spots where I took a run at the hills and slid backwards about 150-200 feet, and after tossing the chains on I pretty much just walked up and over everything, they are a game changer for that kind of terrain.

Toss them in the back of the truck at first snowfall every year since I've had them, and pull them out if/when you need them. For the icy hill stuff I think I'd rather have four tires chains then 1 winch to be honest, long winch pulls burnt up my old 8274 a couple years before, and that was in -15 weather.

X2 on the build thread.

How about a shot from the side and a link to that 3 Link setup?
A shot from the Side I Might have, but as far as a link to the 3 link build, mine is pretty close to Action Jacksons, I got a lot of help figuring mine out from asking him questions and his build pages thread. I just did some extra work Turning my coil mounts and Knuckles making everything proper. I will scavenge what pics I have and cobble together a build thread sometime in the near future.

Ok heres one from last week when it was -12 outside....remote start I love you. We never get snow or - temps around here, really weird.

Are tire chains bad for the trail? Meaning do they damage the trail?
