After driving my 200 everyday for the past week, i decided to take the 100 out for a spin and a few things i noticed right away
1 - Steering on the 100 feels lighter
2 - You don't have to dig into the brake pedal as much on the 100 to actually get to the brakes but when it comes to actual braking performance the 200 is obviously superior even though to me it feels like you need to push the pedal deeper.
3 - I still find the 100 seats more comfortable, but i guess that is because my 200 seats still need to be ''broken in?''
4- You guys in the US might not relate to this, but i really missed seeing the Toyota hood ornament while driving.

I didn't miss the 100 as much as i thought i would, the 200 is obviously superior and so it should be. I
am seriously thinking of selling the 100 and replacing it with a nice clean 80.

80 + 200 doesn't get much better than that.

Seriously i feel like anyone with a 60 or 80 who is thinking of upgrading to a newer Cruiser or wants to add a newer Cruiser to the stable should definitely look into a 200 instead of a 100. The 100 is a great vehicle but the 200 builds on the greatness of the 100 and takes it to another level.
Good luck with breaking the seats in. On the drivers seatback on my 200 the foam collapsed on one side. Looking for a pair of chevy/gmc seats to put in the front. After the accident in my defender my backs never been 100% so I'm trying to find a quick solution for this

I'm looking into these for my 2013: http://thmotorsports.com/recaro/recaro-comfort-seat-ergomed/154201541/i-70738.aspx

A little expensive, but once you've sat in one it's hard to settle for anything less ...

HTH

I should probably put this in the classified section, but I am casually looking for a set of 17" TRD Rock Warriors. If anyone has a lead on a (cheap) set, let me know.

If your going to buy used try to get the newer part #. They updated a couple years ago with improvements. New # PTR45-34120. Old Part number was PTR45-34070.

Good to know. What improvements did they make?

From what I've heard it eliminates any field "clicking" issues. Don't know what that necessarily means but sounds good to me.

ha. yeah it does.

try googling search tempest = wide open craigslist
you may already be doing that

thanks. there have been 3 sets nearby that have sold in the last month. I am going to bide my time and see if any other one pop up. $345 each is a heck of a lot better than I have seen other places though!

If anyone is looking to buy some tires soon you may want to call your local shop today and see if they are wheeling and dealing.
This morning I bought Nitto Trail grapplers 35x12.5x17, mounted, swap out my TPMS to my other wheels and road force balanced for what I consider to be great price compared to what I've seen elsewhere.

I may have gotten lucky or maybe shops are looking to hit their year end numbers. Thought I'd share this info in hopes you get lucky too.
Have a safe and Happy new year gents!

install monday or Tuesday of next week.....no pics yet

I picked up a set of factory rock warriors last year on CL with new BFG AT's off a Tundra for 1400$ Just have to keep looking.

i found a set just this afternoon. The seller told me they were still for sale. I'm waiting for him to call back and I can hopefully make arrangements with him. I will have to drive about 5 hours each way though. :-( I'll take the subaru, it gets 38mpg

EDIT: Nope, deal fell through. Still on the lookout! Found some in Michigan and Ohio; wont do me much good; too far away :(
