I don't know much about this app, never used it, but that's my old 80 series snap shot in the upper left.....lol

Do you wish you still owned it?
I miss that it was an unstoppable beast, I miss the look of it, I miss the simplicity of it, etc etc etc.... But I don't miss the wet floors, the hot floors, the broken windows and doors, the lack of power etc etc etc..... It was a stepping stone in the evolution of my vehicles and of Landcruisers.... We called it old grey, and now we have new grey! The 200 is such a bad ass rig it's really hard to miss any other vehicle I've ever owned, just saying!:beer::beer:

Interior lighting question....in my '08, the overhead console row of buttons that include "Spot" lights (driver and passenger) and "Door" are not illuminated at night. The row of lights that are for the homelink are illuminated. I thought this was unusual, and kind of inconvienient when I'm needing to turn on the spot light to see something at night because you can't even see the buttons. I'm wondering if I have an electrical issue, or if others see it the same way? Thanks for the input!

Not back-lit on my 2014 either and now that I think about it, it's not lit at all in the '13 Range Rover, GT3, my leased commuter Hyundai, etc. It'd be nice, but I guess I didn't care enough complain about it. I'm just in love with my setup. It's a friggin' beast and in SUV land, one can't do any better imo.

Now if I wanted a crazy unique looking weekender toy that turns heads left and right, I'd definitely pick-up an all black 80 series, Slee 4" lift it, and add some steamroller 35s.

I spent a week in NYC this month and only saw 1 LX570. Zero 200-series Toyotas. I did see a TON of POS Range Rovers though. :slap:

Next time your in NYC give me a shout. I live 30 min north and have a buddy in Manhattan with a Radflo equipped 2008 LC. We're the only two Mud Land Cruisers in New York that I know of. We meet up at Captain Lawrence Brewery once in a while. Other Mud Members are welcome to join.

This week I saw a 2013 or 2014 the other day in Scarsdale and it was driver by a..... Soccermom. I waved, she didn't get it.

Lots of 100s around here but truthfully if I see one or two 200 LCs in a year that amazing. Lots of LXs in the suburbs.

I had only seen one 200 in the Fort Worth, TX area since I bought mine a couple of months ago until this week. I have seen 5 in the last two days including a 200 with a lift, bumpers and a roof rack on I30 near downtown yesterday.

I thought about you while I was up there. My wife and I were celebrating our 5 year anniversary, and she wouldn't have liked the idea of doing "guy stuff" on our romantic trip. :hillbilly: Maybe next time?

I will say that we spent the evening at Bouley on Duane St. It was very nice. I finally had a chance to try sea urchin for the first time.

I live in N. Arlington (near Ft. Worth), there are three 200s in my neighborhood that I see on a regular basis. White, silver, and black ones in addition to my red.. There are several in the DFW metroplex but are usually driven by soccer moms who prob would have rather had LX's

My wife thought it was really weird when I told her I was meeting up with another LC owner.
I ensured her it was nothing "weird."

We talk trucks and drink beer, Chris washes his truck at my house, I grease his driveshafts.......
Wait, now I know why wife is all freaked out. I told her her It's ok. I use Moly grease.

Ms cruiser, where do you live? Did you drive up here.

LMFAO

We live in Jackson, MS, but we flew out of Atlanta (were spending the holidays with my wife's family this year).

We flew to NYC. We never drive when we go up there; I'd hate to have to worry about parking, though getting to drive a 200 series through Manhattan instead of taking the subway would have been a whole lot nicer!

Merry Christmas cruiser heads

After driving my 200 everyday for the past week, i decided to take the 100 out for a spin and a few things i noticed right away
1 - Steering on the 100 feels lighter
2 - You don't have to dig into the brake pedal as much on the 100 to actually get to the brakes but when it comes to actual braking performance the 200 is obviously superior even though to me it feels like you need to push the pedal deeper.
3 - I still find the 100 seats more comfortable, but i guess that is because my 200 seats still need to be ''broken in?''
4- You guys in the US might not relate to this, but i really missed seeing the Toyota hood ornament while driving.

I didn't miss the 100 as much as i thought i would, the 200 is obviously superior and so it should be. I
am seriously thinking of selling the 100 and replacing it with a nice clean 80.

80 + 200 doesn't get much better than that.

Seriously i feel like anyone with a 60 or 80 who is thinking of upgrading to a newer Cruiser or wants to add a newer Cruiser to the stable should definitely look into a 200 instead of a 100. The 100 is a great vehicle but the 200 builds on the greatness of the 100 and takes it to another level.
