so random - what do you have cooking?Anyone want to buy two used BP-51 rear shocks or a single brand new BP-51 rear shock for cheap?
Nothing crazy for suspension. My front BPs blew their oil last winter. ARB sent me all new front coil overs, and also new rear ones... just because. I shipped back the fronts, but now I have two used rear BPs, one brand new (old style rock guard) rear BP, and one brand new (new style rock guard).so random - what do you have cooking?

Tell yeah what, $200 for the old shocks, $300 for the new one, and I’ll wave the hug fee.How cheap are we talking?
What is the currency exchange for a hug?
I'm a great hugger. Ass-out hugs for dudes only though.
I’ve paid shops to do work for me and had major failures. Unfortunately my skill set doesn’t give me the confidence that I could do it better. But little by little I learn how to do it myself. Hopefully down the line I can be self reliant. These forums help though.I have to vent guys. Why do people work on car when they don't know how to work on cars?
I'm converting my tan interior to black and have been removing parts and painting them. Also, I bought my 200 used and the only issue was a red stain under the second row seats. I later find that it was a massive red slushy that was also still in the seats. Ughh... ok, that's fine, I cleaned it all up.
I also found it weird the the plastic bracket covers for the 2nd row seats didn't have something that covered the bolt holes. When looking at my parents '18, I found that there are rubber bumpers on the plastic shrouds for the second row.
"Ok, now this i making sense" the previous owners kid pours slushy down the seats, and someone tried to remove the second row seats. To stupid to know how to actually remove the seats, they rip the rubber bumpers out and unbolt the seats.
Now that I have the plastic shrouds off, I find the second row front seat bracket bolts, where put back in cross threaded as s***!
AHHHH! WHY DO PEOPLE THAT DON'T KNOW HOW TO WORK ON CARS, AND ARE NOT DETAIL ORIENTATED AT ALL... WORK ON CARS!!!!!!
Now in Toyota's superior engineering, they made the bolts weaker than the captive nuts. I was able tap the nuts, buy new bolts, and everything handles full torque and is still a solid mount. thank god.
But for two trip across the US, my son has been in a seat that was only half bolted in. WTF!
How low grade can these people be. And that's why I do all my own work.
This is also why I'm so passionate about doing things right. Half ass work, leads to unsafe vehicles.
Thanks guys, rant over. I'm going to go change my BP's preload for the 6th time and play with the alignment a bit.
