I went with a 2008, as I liked the ~$30k price point instead of the ~$45k price point of a 2013. There's a lot of modifications you can do with the price difference. If you aren't going to modify it too much, it makes sense to get the newer car.
The great thing about the 200 series is that the middle row is roomy enough that you can throw all 3 kids there. My kids are ages 12, 7, and 5, and the 12 year old fits in the middle with room to spare, even with normal-size car seats (boosters) surrounding her.
The not so great thing about a 200 series is that if you have 3 kids and two of them in car seats that you need to buckle, third row access is going to be difficult, as you have to fold one side or the other to reach the rear, and you won't be able to put both car seats on the drivers side wider fold down and use the latches.
I've had visitors where we have to deal with lots of car seats and simultaneously have one person use the third row. A strategy is to leave one side of the 3rd row folded up. And make the older child climb in and out through the rear hatch.
