I'm a State Department Foreign Service Officer. I work in embassies abroad. In Nouakchott we have a new embassy being built I'll be participating in that project along with my normal duties at the current embassy.
Couple little things going on next weekend. RAM cellphone mount and I'll be trying my hand at vinyl wrapping the chrome bits on my LC (excluding the grill).

Unfortunately true diplomatic immunity only applies to heads of departments, the ambo, and DCM. The rest of us embassy worker bees get pseudo immunity I guess. For example, in Norway I would still get pulled over for traffic violations and had to pay fines.
There is a huge difference between Living in a wealthy first world country and living in a poor third world country. In third world countries diplomats sometimes have a little privilege. Cops will not so often hassle us for bribes and in Islamic countries US diplomats can still drink booze or practice their own religion (in the privacy of their home).
So unfortunately no, I do not have a 007 license to kill... but I may be 1 of only a few people in Nouakchott home brewing up some tasty beers or listening to 666 The Number of the Beast.

I'm pretty sure I want to be friends with Odinskind.
(Forgive the Semi colons several of my keys are not working on my laptop). Have made some good progress with the Cruiser since my last post. I now have a Prinsu rack; blacked out hood; blacked out all the chrome; back up lights; ARB compressor. Next week I'm having sliders welded on; and a 40" light bar mounted to the roof rack; and will install side lights.
Ha ha good catch. Actually the first 4 RW rings where powder coated black by the original owner. Then I bought two more off eBay that had chrome rings. I attempted to take off the chrome rings to have them powder coated but broke 2 hex wrenches so I stopped trying to take them off because I didn't want to strip out the bolts holding the rings on. So now I'll periodically have different colored rings when I rotate the wheels.
