Thanks Lou. I've been lucky to have some time lately. Hell, I don't see how you have the time to do what you have already done to yours while running a restaurant. (A good one at that)

I'm already a step ahead; the PO cut one completely off. :hillbilly:

Ok ok, I give!

Paging @Bodean and @77TLCFJ40

Let's talk about mini-truck power steering. I'm thinking I should just DO IT now, while I have everything apart, and before I powdercoat the frame.

Didn't one of y'all tell me to get with Georg about a kit? Know what the cost is? Tell me what I need.

Well mine is a Mini truck P/S box (pre IFS) and a Tercell pump (wouldn't do this again). It's been 15 years ago so I can't remember what all we used. There are a lot of threads out there on this. Check with @wct49 on this. Not sure what happened to his set up we took off when we did the Saginaw on his 40. Might still be at his shop.

Definitely Georg for the gearbox and pump mounts.

You are in luck! I scored an '84 PS gearbox a couple weeks ago at the Monroe U-Auto-Pull-It.

Go with the Volvo pump instead of the Toyota pump.

I'll trade you a rear sill for it. :)

Why is that? (I'll never run anything larger than 33x10.5, if that makes any difference.)

Better wheel feel. Jeff Davis was talking about going to Saginaw on his truck you may can score the old parts off of his volvo/OEM PS.

^This!^

Greg, can you text me his number?

I texted him this morning. I'll see if I can take what he has; I'll let him know you have a Saginaw bracket too.

No matter what direction I go though, I should go ahead and order the mounts from @orangefj45 though, right?

Bueller.....
