For what it's worth, I have aftermarket lights but they very rarely get used. In group rides, unless you're leading, the lights will just piss off the person in front of you... The only time my lights get used is when I'm driving at night on a backroad - and that's only if I think about it.

Sans bar is best but a nice improvement in either case.
 
If I've got to install it myself? Not likely. I'll probably see if my mechanic is up for it.

Aussie locker installed
4x4labs double swingarm rear bumper with 40" spare, ladder and Hi-lift jack eta: 2 weeks
14psi turbo, intercooler, fuel pump, injectors, new ECU... With a 500hp target, eta 3-4 weeks.
