That jeep is atrocious and the brothers in the older 4runner look like they are better at cookin meth than off roading, but I do love seeing that pig be the only one through the mud bog and in the lead.

I think they copied my pig!!

Watched it for the first time this morning....wont watch it again....whomever referrenced honey booboo was spot on. That and the channels over dramatization of everything

I have watched it and agree it really makes off roaders look bad. I watch it to see the landscapes as they are fantastic. Also to see what the pig can do. It makes us all look like destructive rebels . I personally like to go easy when I off road and respect and enjoy my surroundings . The whole race mentality is silly as you are asking for breakage . I wonder how much support they have behind the scenes. And WTF is super jeep haha? I do respect how he built it himself and it does have a chance. Just goes to show you it takes a lifetime to build a super jeep.

certain terrain requires a lot more throttle, but everyone on the episode i watched was just being douchey

i think what you guys are forgetting is the 100k prize money... It'd be safe to say they don't normally drive their trucks like that. But with big $$ on the line you do things differently. I know i would! I was the inspiration i needed to buy my 55!

It looks like the "lower 48ers" and their "Super jeep" will win. If so, I suspect they will share the prize money with the other contestants. They just seem like the kind of guys who would do that.

super jeep might win, but it depends on how many stages are left. Losing that injector on the engine is going to hurt big time. IF you were to compare the trucks for everything they had from the beginning i'd have backed it all the way. Big tyres, lots of power and probably the lightest truck there too. And that land anchor has pulled them out of so many tight spots.

There is a shot where you see the underside of the pig and you can clearly see that they cut off the spring and shackle hangers and welded a 4" ish block to the frame then reattached the hangers and kept it sua. For the most part all the vehicles appear to me to be under built and or hacker. I think the quality of the vehicles is more of an embarassment to the off-road community than their apparent disregard for treading lightly.

I think treading lightly and 4 wheeling somehow seem not to fit together.

Yes, it sounds silly but I think the suggestion is valid: Be mindful of your destruction and attempt to minimize it.

It was a race. End of story. Interesting drama. Fact. Two slighly modified toyotas finished said race without catastrophic failure.

Few days ago my 9 yo girl saw few images displayed to present the show and called me and said Dad, Dad. Your car on Tv. Now we dont miss any episode and I let you guess what is our preferedcar and supposed winner.
