I just bought the 33" BFG A/T on a OME 2.5 lift - they run great:). I have heard other have regretting going larger because it has effected street performance and they had to change speedometer gears etc.

33" tires are a great size, it's basically the same as the 295/75 that I'm running and I did get the gear to calibrate the speedometer

From Slee's Site

Installing larger tires will cause your speedometer to misread. The speedometer correction gear can partially correct for that.
The standard speedometer drive gear on the 80 Series has 32 teeth. The speedometer correction gear has 31 teeth. Using the correction gear, the correction is 3.2% faster.
The most common size tire installed to gain extra clearance is 285/75R16. When the diameter of this tire is calculated, it comes to 32.8". The stock tire size is 275/70R16, which equated to a 31.2" diameter. So when installed the larger tires, your speedometer will read 57 mph when you are traveling 60 mph. Using the correction gear, your speedometer will read 58.9 mph.

Picked up the Cruiser from IPOR, it was there for the front crank seal, pesky heater hose, front leather seat cover's (Shane's) that IPOR carries and the IPOR rear bumper...everything was completed except the bumper.....I decided to have them add a tow hitch and cap the ends that extend towards the rear wheels for a cleaner look. As it's been said here many times before, these seat covers are great. Lou

Very clean! Can't believe I forgot to subscribe to this thread the other day.

Got a few things done today....installed awning brackets and install the Foxwing Awning and with a slight modification (drilling a hole) mounted my ARB awning on the other side.
I also put the Spector Tuff Duck seat covers on the front and rear seats. I really hated to cover the new leather but just want to keep in clean.
I also ran into a issue with the subwoofer box, It didn't fit with the fiberglass back ......it was to deep , so I cut out most of the
fiberglass and re-glassed the back...making it thinner.

Sweet build....

I'm liking the white roof. Got some side shots?

hey lou nice build

When both are deployed you have serious coverage and I've had the ARB for about 3years and its was sitting in the basement so why not mount it....The Foxwing is a modern marvel that you can zip in another 8ft extention to each panel.
I had a chance to have both deployed about a week ago for a tailgate party to watch horse racing....we got a few drops of rain and everyone headed under the awnings.. saved the day.
With the Foxwing you can spec a left side (drivers)mount or a right side mount... I have a left side...
In my conversation with Rhino Rack they have a few customer that have bought two awnings.....lets say two left sides and mounted them to either side...so one wraps around from the left to the rear and the other from the right wraping around the the front ...for total coverage...
As you can see below the Foxwing drew a crowd and the ARB was a huge attraction to this young hottie who was looking to get away from the rain and was checking out the Tuff Duck seat covers:D
So there are a few reasons why I have both mounted

DAMN!

whoa sorry that was rude. but seriously, that girl is fine.

good choice of wine too. nickel and nickel is a good choice for chardonnay compared to its big brother Far Niente which is way too spendy.

Subwoofer Enclosure

Got a little more work done on the enclosure yesterday... the biggest PITA is trying to line everything thing up as the grill will be exposed and mounted on the panel I built to cover the storage box cover and the factory sub grill...its a slow process. I decided to cover the panel with a med brown color marine vinyl left over from my 55 project. Marine vinyl is very easy to work with in the way it will stretch around corners without a lot of cutting. I also got the
speaker wire plate mounted..

would you give us a rough estimate of the interior dimensions or volume of the box? eager to see how this looks when done

Its about 1 cubic foot...the sub requires .85 and .35 with the sub in the box.

IPOR Bumper

Spent the day at IPOR for some new bling..my new bumper. I had them cap the ends for a finished look and add the tow hitch. The tire carrier will be next and I installed the dome and door LED's
They also install a trim pack to level the truck and i needed a new fan clutch
