I'll take plenty of detailed pics this weekend. Here's a few of the MAF LR Tank:






 
I haven't gone through all 30 pages of your build (but I will!) and it look like an awesome rig.

I didn't see you mention it but did you get the FJ60 or 62 long range tank? Reason I ask is because I had the FJ60 tank and when I finally swapped to the 5.3L I kept burning out external fuel pumps when I got around 1/2 tank full and on moderate offroad climbs...even quality Walbro pumps would die when I was off-road/off camber etc....there doesn't seem to be enough baffling in them.

It was a bummer but I had to buy another tank and get the 62 version with an in tank fuel pump

Is that 2.5? And what muffler is that? And how loud is it?
 
Agreed give us some info on exhaust and a video of sound too. I am in need of one and going to try and pick a cat and muffler I can eventually swap to a new engine.

2.5 tapered to 2.25 past the muffler. Muffler is a 18" magna flow. Great sound - maybe a little quiet for some - but quiet in the cabin & zero drone. I'll take a vid after the alignment for u guys.

s*** - thx for the info and wish I knew this when I was ordering, damn it! When the time comes, I'll sell it and get the 62 tank.

Was the LR tank the recent manafre version?

Yep, the FJ62 tank I have now is a new 2015 tank from MAF....and the FJ60 tank was also from MAF. It's possible they fixed the FJ60 version and it will be fine with an external fuel pumped now...but it is fairly common overall for them to burn out in various applications (I read from googling + on various forums)

MAF on the phone told Tor that the 62 tank has more baffling inside it but that's as far as I researched

I installed the 2015 FJ60 version. I recall reading a description that it would work on a 62. Mmmmmmm?
