I have inherited a 60 series imported Sahara land cruiser. I've been looking at doing the rust repairs myself but before I did I wanted to make sure what I was quoted is a reasonable price to other people and if it isn't I'll be looking for another body work shop. Below are photos of the rust tell me what u think and if it is a reasonable price any tips on repairing the rust myself would be greatly appreciated.
Also if u can help I can only find the chassis number no VIN or year model number near the chassis number under the bonnet how else can I find this information out

I forgot to add the photos.

60,000?!? It is a lot of work to do fix the rust on the roof—the headliner needs to be removed, rust cut out, metal patched in, etc...but that seems like an astronomical amount of money. That converts to $40,000 USD; for perspective you could buy two really nice 60-series cruisers for that much. Now, if you meant $6,000 AUS dollars, it still seems high to me.
