Well now when you roll it yours won’t be the first scratch.

No anti-seize compound and no JIS bit. Seems like a waste of money/material to re-plate them. OEM stripped out isn't a selling feature to me. I have repaired a fair number of slotted gun screws from Bubba, even clocked some so they all line up.

I throw those screws in the trash in almost every chance when I have to remove them. They are ridiculously poor quality to start with and they are almost always in the wrong application. Another example of toyota having their head up their ass.

Wrong fastener period. The Phillips tip is designed to slip.

Putting those in with an impact is way easier than any other method as well.

Like I said, I'm guessing It's an old fastener that was replated.

the wheel base extension is the best.. one of my favorite 40 mods. Especially when the body work is done properly to match.

I only drove it maybe 10-15 miles before putting it on the trailer, it does track and ride on the road much nicer. Some improved departure angle will be appreciated as well.

Bedliner on the tub inside and out was a very good improvement as well. For a 40 series, it is very quiet. Now, it's not quiet. It's just quiet for a 40 series. Obviously new seals and things like window tracks attenuated a lot of the sound(s) as well.


I'm super happy. It looks awesome and some very tasteful improvements have been made
