Just thought some would like to know what a steady diet of ARB does to the ol' waistline.

Looks like stock curb weight is 5,815 lbs, so I'm about 800-900 lbs over that with everything added.

More details on the 6,680 weigh-in this morning:

-I was not in the vehicle - vehicle was mostly empty (no recovery gear inside, etc.)
-3/4 tank of gas
-ARB front bumper
-ARB rear bumper with tire swingout
-Warn 9.5 winch
-OEM Tundra Wheels with Nitto 33" MT tires
-Slee sliders
-ARB skid plates
-ARB locker
-ARB twin compressor
-OME 2.5" lift kit
-Yakima Mega Warrior cargo rack

I thought this might be helpful information for anyone with a similar build or considering a similar build for their truck.

Thanks for sharing. Dare I ask what this does to your MPG?

How much does it affect acceleration being 800 lbs heavier?

My mpg is usually around 10, but I think I hit 13 sometimes on trips... I don't drive the truck too much, and when I do it's usually short trips (I'm just over 15k on it after over 2 years ownership - and that 15k is mostly big trips like Moab and Ouray.)

@mcgaskins - 4400 South Clay RV & Equipment Storage is a state certified public scale that I like to use - 303-797-1689.

@Reckless - I don't think my acceleration is too terribly bad, considering. The truck still hauls a$$!

I'm sitting at 6880 lbs - keep eating little pig :pig:

I'm guessing part of that is your roof rack and larger tires? Does that weight include tools you keep in the truck?

They are piggies for sure.

you're probably spot on with that guess - a few tools, roof rack, tires, I had a full tank of gas when I got weighed and lastly two way overly built car seats - plus a 6 pack in the cooler arm rest

Holy crap.

I love plus sized women!

:-)

hahaha quite yer :crybaby: I just had the privilege of driving a fully armored 200:D Surprising it still gets up and goes at 8440 pounds and with its 1UR-FE engine. Honestly the scariest part is the braking. And still AWESOME!!

I've had some existential angst about my vehicle weight, recently. It started when I weighed it on a scale while it was partially loaded with a total weight of 7360 (no people, half tank of gas). I found the weight to be alarming especially since it was not fully loaded. I subsequently either directly weighed or estimated the weight of everything added to the vehicle.

Since then, I ordered some larger rear OME springs to compensate.

Fully loaded, I'm at 7787 lbs.

No wonder I had to bump up the psi to 48 on the BFG KO's!

Sounds about right. My 100 scaled at 7400lbs loaded for cross country travel, family of 4 and a full tank. :pig:

Pretty sure I'm 50-80lbs heavier on the nose now after upgrading from the Titan 12k winch to the real deal Warn M12000. Also have a bigger fridge in the back now.

That being said we now travel with the Turtleback trailer in tow so the 100 has less weight on the rear axle than when I scaled it that day.

Sooner or later our 200 will go down the same path to :pig:dom...

Just adding info to this thread for whomever may need it.

My 2008 LC, with:

ARB front bumper, ComeUp winch, Slee rear bumper, Slee sliders, full tank of fuel, and my rear end in the driver seat;

(drum roll, please)

6,760#

I have to admit when I first saw the OP weight my first thought was "that's it?" I need to properly weigh my truck but at first guess I'm thinking I'm running easily over 1500# over stock and loaded probably closer to 2200# over stock.

These aren't numbers to be proud of by any means as my mpg of 11 with a tail wind speaks for itself.
