Nice rig

Nice rig. Since somebody has to do it, I guess I may as well get it out of the way; you need to flip your Bezel :-)

It's the one danger of posting photos of your FJ40.

Wow, dashbox in the UAE. Wonder what it cost to ship that over? Very clean looking truck and some nice pictures.

Good looking 40.

What can you tell us about it? How much was custom fabricated?

I see you've got a hatch, the front aprons/fenders are different, and it appears that your tailgate no longer opens.

Do the rear vent windows open on the hardtop?

We love detail, and pictures... :D

Mine is a 72 and I'm the original owner. In this pics she is dressed for off road. I have her back to stock (except for the fender flares) now in preparation for a car show tomorrow. After that, the hard top will come off and I'll have her topless for the summer - the only way to survive Florida's summer without air conditioning!

Originally, it looks like it had ambulance doors (after 75 they do). When they converted to the hatch, they filled the opening... Likely the easiest way.

If you want the rear windows to open, you should be able to simply bolt in the windows once you've got the correct ones with the seal and hardware. If you'd rather, you can also cut out the cross bar, and install a pre-77 single piece window in its place.

I find the vent windows to be very benificial in the heat, and when it's wet.

Well this year Ill keep it the as it is ,,, I might go for V8 :)
