If Rus decides to make more of those box sections to sell let me know. I imagine more than a few 79+ rigs could use them if they’re trying to keep the original frame alive. Cheers to progress and thanks for posting up the details!
Rus, @solomrus, is thinking about kits - I will let him speak more in detail of what he is thinking. I'm heading to Omaha shortly to go there. First I need to get @Plains Cruiser, Scarlett Chariot is waiting to be picked up from the spa.

Plus rumor is Rus has donuts this am. I don't eat them often anymore, such a treat.

Hey everyone.

Info about the frame repair plates that we're making for @OlYellr.

I will be happy to make extra sets of these for anyone who is interested in them. Preferably, I would supply a kit which would include the outboard hanger gussets as well. We are going to be working on those here soon, and I and/or Bryan will keep y'all updated.

These will be cut out and prepped by hand as we're not strictly a fab shop and not tooled up for production. Since there are variances from truck to truck, I expect that there will be fitment required for each installation. I'm available directly via PM here on MUD for questions so that we can keep the noise here in Bryan's thread to a dull roar.

We really appreciate that there is interest in these, and look forward to working with everyone to keep their trucks on the road.

Few posts to get caught up.

Took some stuff to get sandblasted and others stuff for power - blasted the gas tank protector after pounding to shape (had a big dent in it and the gas tank had matching).

I lost oil pressure reading on way to Colorado - panic - and got a new OEM sensor in and did the new boot and wiring that ToyotaMatt sells. With Yellr on the lift, easy to get to.

The PO - (and I link on another post it was pointed out we are all PO). used the wrong end to secure the wire to the oil pressure sensor - it was not tapered to lock on.

Will get better picture - as did some cleanup on the wiring.

The plan is to finish cleaning and start paining - then weld up the passenger side and cut the driver side to match. Paint stuff arrived late yesterday afternoon - temps are to get warmer so that will be good.

Used a heater and got a few coats of rust encapselator (using Eastwood) - got some rubberized stuff for the tank too - will undercoat that.
