It's been go go go trying to get the 40 together. With only 4 1/2 months before the truck has to be done I think I'll be spending a lot time in the shop.
You guys have seen the post of the engine, now getting it to me has been another story. The owner has had some family issues and it has delayed the shipping. I'm hoping to go get it in Ogdensburg soon.
I did however get the 4L80e tranny fully rebuilt including a TCS torque converter
http://www.tcsproducts.com/products/product/682/. The shop that did the tranny (Lentech out of Richmond, Ontario) even took the time to dyno test the tranny before I pick it up.
Also got a new 32 spline input shaft for the NP203 range box, so I took the time the pull the old one out, clean up and paint the case before I put it back together with new gasket and bearing.
Also got the frame fully painted and reassembled. Because I had completely separated the frame, I spent 9 hours yesterday bolting it all back together again with grade 8 hardware. Forgot to get a pic of it fully assembled, but do have a few pics of the backing plate I put on the inside of the frame to help support the rock sliders and also one of the bracket that supports the rear bumper The bumper fully assembled will have 10 1/2" grade bolts and 2 grade 5 carriage bolts holding it on to the frame so it should be nice and strong.
Also got the Monstliner on the bottom of most of the bed and also got the role cage painted.
With the help of a few fellow members of TNTLC (Bryan, Stephen, Kent & Andrew) and my buddy Guillaume, we took the time today to drop the body back on the frame and put the rollcage back into the body. Initially the plan was to put the drivetrain and other items into the frame before putting the body on but

wanted to be able to put her car in the garage for the winter months, so to claim some brownie points I put the whole thing together (I also wanted some instant gratifications

)
Time for some rest, but I'll keep you guys update as I go.
