You running any kind of limiting straps or retaining strap on the coils?

No not yet, I made a comment in one of @hotwod 's threads that we both need limiting straps or spring retainers since we're running the same link setup. I haven't decided how to go about it yet, but I did just get my new slee 4" medium coils a few minutes ago, man in brown was sweating pretty bad when I answered the door, he didn't realize they would be so heavy lol. So I will probably figure out the limiting strap and spring retainers when I get the time to install the new shorter springs.

Copy that, keep us posted!

I too will be lowering my big bitch. I CAN'T stand how tippy it is. I can't afford to replace my underwear as frequently as I do. I'm obsessed with Asspounder's Rig. I'd like to get mine to function a little closer to the way his does... but I have to wait to see how tight the Cummins makes my suspension travel

There is probably a good spring and shock combo that would be perfect at 6" of lift. My original setup was great, just started getting tippier as I added bumpers and a tire carrier and sliders and a sliding drawer set. To the point it's just too soft, not so soft it makes me really uncomfortable. But soft enough that I am changing it. I will get the Slee springs installed and all of the links front and rear adjusted out and let you know how the mediums hold up.

Wow! Awesome build. I'm local to you but haven't seen this rig around. Unless it has projector headlights?

No projectors. If you're in the Eugene area then you probably wouldn't have seen it, I try not to spend any time in Eugene. But I drive it around everywhere.

So it looks like you did a 3 link with stock steering.

You've been spotted in Eugene by EPD last Friday....

A birdie told me... ;-p

That's funny. I don't remember being in Eugene last Friday. A little birdie told me that someone else has a big white cruiser similar to mine around Eugene

Hummm. Could be I suppose there was a guy biting my style just before we rolled out...

But based off the pics in this thread and your rear bumper he said it was a positive ID...

He thought I was back in town, and sent me a text.

You guys would get along, he's EPD EOD.

What engine?

Correct, I used the stock setup, sleeved everything and added Hydro assist.
Is there still an engine swap in the works for this?
Hey Noob, I lost momentum with the engine rebuild. All of the new parts I had to order and wait for kind of slowed me down. I just need to finish installing the IP and injectors and associated lines. I think I might go with a 6bt though. I'm not sure the 4BD2T will make enough power. I got a fully hydraulic Valve body for an diesel A440f from one of our Oz brothers though. So a swap is in the cards, just not sure when or what engine now.

Hey Matt, I'm sure your buddy and I would get along famously. My MOS in the Marines was combat engineer so I have explosives training too and I LOVE me some Explosives.

Do it, I gave up on my 4bd1t and am now going 6bt/nv4500/HF2A with marlin low range.

Should be OK. [emoji6]
Good to know lol. Only downside is I will be stuck with this money pit that I will not be able to get half of my money back out of. Maybe I will save it for another project Lol.

It's a good motor don't get me wrong. I just had enough of the issues I had. I could not sink anymore money into it and still be called a sain person.

Interesting mod I would like to make radius arms to correct the caster

Nice front droop there! I'm hoping to do something similar to mine in the next year.
