Do you have any plans on addressing body roll at hwy speeds?

Cant say I do Phil, I really haven't had an issue with it yet. There is only one part of the FWY here That gives me any real body roll, its a pretty sharp curve off the interchange with a suggested speed of 45 and I usually go around about 5 over and it doesn't bother me too much.

So you have 10" of separation at the axle side, whats is the separation on the frame end? Just curious. I have been considering linking the front of my 80 series for a bit better ride and little bit more articulation. Haven't even started a design yet considering i am still working on armor and drawer system. Thanks for the write-up and pictures.

Hey, sorry it took me so long to get to this one, I recently cut off my upper link mount and made a new and improved one so I can get more out of my JJ's without ruining them like the last mount. So, before I removed the old mount I measured it at about 9 1/4. After the new mount was welded on it measures 9 3/4.

It has been a while since I added anything here. I have been slowly doing little things here and there, nothing too exciting. A buddy of mine from the forum HOTWAD has been at me to post some new stuff. So, here are a few pics of completed work. Hope you're happy WAD.
So, I sleeved my Drag link, and Tie Rod, added new over-sized power steering reservoir, Tapped my steering box and installed a new seal kit, mounted a Hydraulic assist cylinder and plumbed it all together.

Made a few shock adapters for the RS9000's, A picture of the massive shock, and chromoly axles and birfields and I built a front bumper for it. I have a stack of material in my garage for a rear swing out, but time has been an issue lately. As soon as I get a 3 day weekend to myself with nothing that needs done, I will make a rear and hopefully add my sliders.

Knew you would be monitoring!
Yeah, I adjusted the toe, and straightened my wheels up, pulled the drag link and pitman arm and centered my steering box. The box was not even close to centered. So now she drives solid.

Oh yeah, I added this when I first got the truck, and I will be adding an onboard hot water shower when I get time also. There is your inspiration Rod.

how it your PS coping with the ram .. I mean steering response wise ..?
Steering response is actually really good, I still have some bleeding of the system to do, I noticed that on a couple occasions steering was tough while stopped but eased up after a bit. It comes and goes. But overall it's nice, especially with 40" tires.

I did lots of reading and tinkering and measuring and then ordered the ram and test fit and adjusted etc... Really not any threads I know of with this set up. I found 1 picture of it on google pics, that's what got me going. Oh and Rod is right.... Truck racist lol!

These are the only flex shots I have left, my phone fell out of the truck and I managed to jump out right on top of it, then I got this crappy iphone5 and my laptop crashed and lost everything. So, I'm out almost all of my wheeling pics and a great deal of the whole build process.

Hey thanks man, it flexes quite a bit more now with it's longer shocks than it did in those shots. I actually don't think I know anyone with a f150 I would feel kind of awkward parking on a strangers truck. I mean my neighbors have a ford ranger I want to park on top of occasionally, but I don't like them lol.

I am using a 10"x1.5, which is Too Big, I will be down sizing to an 8x1.5 in the future

What material did you use to sleeve the drag link? Nice build

It was DOM. I don't recall the exacts dimensions, I literally went down to the metal place with my sanded down tie rod and drag links and went through their racks fitting them into DOM to find the right inner diameter and I just bought whatever was close to .250 wall.
