Have to put more Cruiser shots in. Didn't think of it very often, too much other stuff to look at.

Beartooth Pass. Top of the world. I think it's something like 10,300 feet. Just amazing. I wish we would have gotten there earlier in the day so we could have seen more on the way down. I didn't see any other cars for hours, kind of freaky at times.

I was just on this trip in June. I miss it bad. How are the temps?

We were there in June as well, June 29th to be exact, so temps were similar to yours I'm sure. Chilly up that high. Just slow getting this posted. We miss it too.

Parting shots from the farm. Letting my 12 year old drive. Great perk to living rural. Love going back there (just not in the winter!). Dad's retired but cousins lease the land around the farm and had Canola planted. Makes for good scenery. 1/4 mile tree lined driveway isn't bad either.

I didn't do Beartooth cuz I was heading to Glacier. Amazing to see that much snow. There was a snow storm with caused an avalanche which in turn shut down Going-to-the-Sun road. Really bummed.

Oh I see. Yeah it was crazy, I'm not sure of exact temps but I'm sure in the 20s when we went through. I'm not very good at judging cold temps though. I have heard of blizzards in July on the pass so we were lucky in a way.

Beartooth Pass is amazing - I need to go back there (last time was in 1988  :() - you had quite a bit more snow than I saw back then (and I was in June that year)

I agree, you need to go back . We're already excited do go again and spend more time there, hike, camp etc.

Awesome trip report. Glad you had a great time!

Wow, what an amazing trip! The pictures are incredible! I drove through Beartooth on the way to Yellowstone, came up through Red Lodge. A huge change in elevation, lots of switchbacks, 60 down below, 35 up on top. Thanks for sharing your pics!

Thanks. As I told ya earlier thanks to your crew for taking care of the rig. Performed as expected in a way, and better than in another way (MPGs!!).

Thank you! Like I said I wish I could have seen the way down. I can't imagine crawling up going that way though. Seemed to take forever getting down.

I remember the valley on the Montana side looking like straight out of the 1890s

No way, that's cool, and you're in AZ too, and you have an 80, crazy stuff. Yes amazing trip. Try to get the boys up to the farm as much as possible. Just haven't gone Yellowstone route before! Yep wouldn't trade it for the world. We'll have to get together and compare ND stories.

Pretty anticlimactic after such an amazing trip but work must go on. Nothing ground breaking, just adding to the thread. Just got my rear sway bar replaced. It was bent, up to the emergency brake line. Got one off a local Mud member for cheap, had it sand blasted for cheaper, primed and painted. Good as new. Also ordered new bushings to complete the refresh (Camelback Toyota parts online).

Out with the old...
