Do you have any before pictures? I love seeing the differences.

Sent from deep in the mountains of Honduras using only sticks and rocks.

Nordic Blue is my fav!!

Do you need anything for this truck that you don't have?

What are you planning for exhaust? I have the flange, NOS hanger at CAT and NOS down pipe.

Plans for seat covers?

good morning shane! I have no clue what to do with the exhaust? that has been on my anxiety list. I think the exhaust is going to be the most difficult to keep that stock look. Do you have any good ideas? I do need a few parts, I need an engine mount for the right side. I need the gasket for the fuel separator behind the passenger seat. I bought black seat covers from Ccot, I'm changing the interior to all black, i need new foam before install.

Thanks shane! the 82 club? if there is one im in... do you have a 1980 plus fj?

Slow to respond, Grandson is visiting, and I am worn out.
I own a reconditioned 82. I knew nothing about this site when I "restored" it several years ago and after reading a lot of stuff on here, I can say now that mine is reconditioned not restored. Makes me want to go back and start all over again.
Michael Hanson has a thread that could be the start of an unofficial count of 82's.
You build is looking great.

I have the flange that bolts to your manifold. Then you can run close to OE with CAT and out the back on the pass side.

If you want to get rid of your original covers, let me know.

For new front seat foam, SOR is the best option. The rears I am having cut, but not for a few weeks.

And Nordic is the best color.... Great Job.

Didn't all 82s have the white spoke wheels, or did you decide to go with the older style?

Just my $.02...don't keep the exhaust stock. The exhaust is the first thing I had to have replaced before I thought about what I wanted to do (because, well, it just kind of fell off as I was driving down the highway :P ). The stock routing goes outside the frame on the driver's side, which will prevent you from being able to install any sliders if you decide to go that route. After I get some miles under my belt and recover financially, I want to re-route the exhaust between the frame rails. Looks fantastic!

SHANE! You and i are not friends!!! LOL!!! your fj is so nice I can't belive my eyes....PLEASE tell my you're getting at least 100K out of her! If not: Mine is worth 5K...Give me your address and the old seat covers are yours...I really thought mine with 5k of powder coating was the cats meow, but damn I need a ZINCER close to my house. Im sooooo inpressed! That was the goal with mine but I keep stricking out with re-zincing options. FJ OF THE YEAR...GOOD WORK...

Hi billmc, Yes my 82 had white wheels, and yes! I hated them! ugly ugly...love the stock look but I can't wear white shoes and my fj cant either...
